A great way to learn the Japanese Alphabet, and an even better way to add some character (literally) to your favorite keyboard, this set takes its inspiration from the Hiragana. Featuring 109 PBT keys, each made through a dye-sublimation process, the set is durable, long-lasting, and resistant to oils that accumulate over time from the fingertips Read More
wasabi234Not 2 months to ship. The keys are made to order.
Masssdrop will collect the orders, meeting the manufacturer's minimum order quantity. Once the drop ends, it'll go to the manufacturer (probably somewhere in China) and they'll start producing the keys. Once completed, it gets shipped to MD who will then complete the orders by sending it to us.
So the 2 month turn around seems accurate. It'll probably take 2-3 days turnaround to ship to us once MD gets it.
In the Cherry set, what are the row profiles? I'd want to know if I could fill in the extra 3 I'd need on my first row in an ortho layout where my 2 2u spaces would be. For now it looks like I could only swap the bottom three arrows and the numpad decimal point into that row, unless others are that height too.
(I'm aware the DSA option is uniform and would fix the problem, just seeing if I could make a sculpted ortho set from these if I tried.)
Hi, does anyone know what the novelty keys are? I know the drop mentions a novelty set and additional keys for iso layout but I don't see any photos. Thanks.
oreocerealSomeone asked the same question from a previous earlier drop for these keys and the answer was no. Don't know if that's changed for this drop.
Not bad caps for the price, the manufacturer seems to be ROBO Ltd and the legends seem to match the ones on the MT3 dev/tty caps. This leads me to believe these are made by the same company as those were.
Ordered these for the 2nd time now because they sent me the wrong ones the first time where the keys were noticeably grey instead of the white they're advertised at. They sent me the grey ones *again*. At least they're slightly less grey than the first set though!
I'm done with Massdrop, this site is a joke. Constantly delayed orders, sent the wrong products, what's even the point.
Picture of the keys with actual white keys as a comparison.

Picture of the first pair I received that were even more grey than the 2nd ones I got:
MeowingtonSometimes the photos get hopelessly color corrected as if someone just hit 'auto' in Photoshop, but that looks like they ran out of white blanks and started using gray instead
