If it's the MF108 / MF87 models then it is the same as the one on Massdrop. F108/F87/C87 etc are plastic case version with non detachable cables. Search Amazon using keyword "MF108" to find it. Amazon currently does not offer MF87/ tenkeyless versions.
do NOT join this drop. I was part of the IKBC Mf-87 drop and there are so many defects with my keyboard. There is some serious lack of quality control with regards to the keyboards sent out. I've yet to hear any kind of RMA process or communication from MD or IKBC. If you're willing to drop 150 dollars for no reason, then go for it. All I'm saying is wait to see how this company responds to customer service before spending your money.
Finally got my board today. I'm impressed with it, and thankful that I didn't get one with any problems.
If anyone did receive one with QC issues, I would seek getting it replaced. I'm very surprised by the build quality here.
Not sure if they are Cherry brand or not, but the long keys use Cherry-style stabilizers rather than those little metal bars that break.
This means a couple of the keys have a bit of a knock to them, but I'm going to get some O rings to put on space, backspace, enter, and some of those keys that get mashed a bit harder. The rest of the keys sound very crisp due to the weight and solidness of the chassis. I'm in heaven.
hi! any chance the casing can house other pcbs/plates of the tkl layout? I'm asking in case something happens to the board or I end up wanting another setup. Does the plate rest on notches etc?
I've only had it for a week, but the thing is heavy and feels really solid. I'm really tempted to buy another for the office, but I don't think my co-workers would appreciate those blues like I do.
Disassembled my board because I accidentally broke one of the screw joints that's holding the micro USB and I stumbled upon an nice surprise! IKBC listened - they added insulation pad to fix shorting issue. NICE!
There's still an slight issue with the durability of the micro USB's mounting. Reinforcing the bottom left plastic joint would be help. Other than that, GREAT board! For the price it's hard to beat!
I just got brown switch version of this keyboard few days before and I'm satisfied with mine.
So I hope that white version will be dropped in next drop, but black again... so sad.
This is listed under the fall promo: "Fast shipping on all orders. Limited-time offers". Does this mean we get it before January, or just that once it ships it will only take 2-3 days?
Dear customer,
Cherry MX does not make RGG for clear switch as @t0rpedo mentioned. However, we do have F-series with cherry MX Black for your option but F-series is not full aluminum case.
Sincerely,
iKBC Keyboard
Please god let us get this in the TKL format... Honestly, I really hope Massdrop can get a higher quality RGB TKL on here, and the IKBC offering is great.
pyrobunnyAh I see. So the F108 with a plastic case is actually the standard version, and the aluminum case presented in this drop is quite unusual. I wonder if Massdrop is the only channel where the aluminum version can be purchased?
Thank you guys for all the support for iKBC. We are much appreciated that many of you are really interested in Aluminum version and it is really over our expectation honestly. This is why we only locked in 50 pcs available because we did not expect it would have such high interests and demand in the community.
For some of you who might know about the relationship between Vortex and iKBC. Here is allowed me to clarify more details: iKBC is a subsidiary brand of Vortex Gear based in Taiwan. Before 2016, iKBC majorly focused on Asian market while Vortex established business globally. In addition, both companies have been sharing special skills and knowledge to design and manufacture the ultimate mechanical keyboards for the community.
In the second half of 2016, iKBC has changed business policy which is that we started to enter the global market. It is because we want to put more focus on our brand awareness as well as the community.
Therefore, in the USA market, we have established our brand store in the Amazon. If some of you are looking for other models, please feel free to click link below.

Currently, we only have few inventory available in the following models.
1. RGB Fullsize and TKL Cherry MX Mechanical Keyboard with Black and White case.
As we mentioned before, we are still new in the community. Please do not hesitate to bring out any questions and we will be happy to answer you and assist you.
Sincerely,
iKBC Mechanical Keyboard
Fantastic news! I can't wait to receive it. If you guys release an aluminum version with of the tenkeyless in the future with a detachable cable I will pick one of those up, too!!
TheZlogThank you for your support. Actually, we made a TKL sample. However, we have not decided yet if and when we would make it available to the community, it's a work in progress for now.
