MarkHi Mark, I appreciate the feedback, and obviously there is little that Massdrop can do other than try to repair a problem caused by circumstances out of their control. However, for those of us who have ordered the printed PBT caps and are overseas, is it likely that we will see this keyboard with printed PBT before Christmas? I am guessing that it will be another few days to a week before you ship out the keyboard all with ABS see-through (assuming KBT say they're willing), and then it'll be another two to three weeks before you get the PBT caps, and then another two to three weeks prior to us seeing them.
I'm not fazed, I just want you to confirm my understanding of what the current situation is.

Getting an order wrong is semi-acceptable at the drive-thru but on a MD shipment with over 150 buyers, that's completely insane KBT.
It sucks a fat donkey dick that MD is caught in the middle here with bad communication.
I apologize for the comments about MDs lack of ability to ship but there is a serious issue with getting information to the people. It took you guys a week to let us know that the printed and blank keycaps weren't shipped? What did you guys do when you got the shipment? Just curious because when I get a package I typically open it and confirm it's correct. Maybe I am the oddball or just raging cause I haven't had my coffee but either way I think MD should make a vow not to go through KBT again and possibly reform some of their update policies.
DanBradburyWhen we receive things that aren't quite as expected, the first thing we do isn't to run to the comment section and tell everyone "omg the package is incomplete!".
We contact the manufacturer and try to sort out what's wrong, why it's wrong, and is it getting fixed quickly or not. Often we receive things that are sent in separate packages and it's just about waiting a few days for the second box to arrive.
Unfortunately the salespeople we talk to generally aren't the same people who process the order and ship it, and we aren't the only order- so as usual, we play the game of broken telephone (in English and Mandarin). We just heard the resolution that A) they weren't shipped, B) they're not on the way. Hence, we can give you semi-complete information.
I wish it was that easy to "ban" manufacturers/wholesalers that don't "play nice". Almost every distributor that we deal with has strange/annoying/vague payment/shipment and delivery terms. Vortex has however been considerably worse than others.
Markwell... unfortunately a comment takes little to no time to write and has an incredible value add to customers who are already irritated with your company.
