Handcrafted in Russia using rare, valuable woods finished with oil and beeswax, these Fischer Audio by Kennerton headphones come in two models: the over-ear, open-back FA-011AE and the on-ear, closed-back Oldskool 33 1/3. Produced in limited quantities to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Fischer Audio, the FA-011AE headphones are an upgraded version of the highly regarded FA-011 with the same “superb bass impact, texture, and speed.” Meanwhile, the Oldskool 33 1/3 was designed with classic looks and portability in mind. Though Fischer Audio products are widely known for their low frequencies, for these headphones, the company decided to keep to the neutral hi-fi sound standard without any preference for the high or low end.

More About the Construction & Sound
The FA-011AE headphones feature a natural leather headband, a removable OFC cable, Swiss-made mini-XLR connectors, and internal wiring done with vintage USSR military-grade litz cables. The retro-inspired Oldskool 33 1/3 headphones are named for the number of revolutions per minute of an LP vinyl record. Made in a limited edition of just a couple hundred units, they’re portable hi-fi grade and feature the proprietary AFC filter APE-025 developed by Fischer Audio and used only in its top models. They deliver a tight, warm bass with detailed mids and clear, high-res highs. Despite their high impedance, these headphones can be easily driven with any modern portable player.
