Product Description
Don’t be fooled by its slim profile: The Kershaw Shuffle DIY offers more than just cutting power. In fact, in addition to the blade, this multi-use knife is equipped with a bit driver with a flathead and Phillips screwdriver, a bottle opener, and a keychain ring—which means it can bail you out of a jam on the job or around the house Read More

I believe that this design is a horrible idea. I have never lost a bit from my Skeletool, but I have lost bits from similar objects. I'm OK with the other two iterations, I own them, but I would not spend my money on this. if you happen to have a coffee can full of 1-inch bits, then don't let my comment dissuade you in purchasing this.

> "plus a reversible pocket clip, allow the knife to be carried tip-up by both righties and lefties. " The above is not borne out by the photos, which show the clip in a position to carry tip-down only, and if it were "reversed" to the other side, the clip would occlude one of the bits. I give a 4 out of 10 for proofreading.

"BladeHQ has the Kershaw shuffle 2 on sale for 17.95" That's a completely different product and, currently, it's $19.95.

Looks cool, but for how rough I am with my slightly organized edc I get the impression the bits would fall out thus ruining one of the main features of the knife.

Great size, great shape, great action..... WORST STEEL I HAVE EVER OWNED.
Seriously, i bought one as a small work knife and after cutting up a box you can see scratches in the blade.

It's a barely-ok cheap Chinese steel. There are far better and far worse steels. Though I can't see your blade, I would bet those scratches are in the cheap coating. Even that 8Cr13MoV steel is hard enough to resist easy scratching.

It's not the coating, it's actual nicks in the edge itself. First time I thought I'd hit a couple of those copper industrial staples or something but a few sharpenings later i realized it was just normal use. Shame really, it's small, light and it has a really satisfying 1-hand opening feel.

Anyone know how much thicker this is than the standard Shuffle (8700)? I carry in my back pocket and am afraid the extra width might be a little uncomfortable sitting on.
