Has taken my grilling from pretty good to great if I do say so myself. I find it particularly useful with tenderloins and bone in chicken, or larger cuts where you are cooking on indirect heat.
Magnet is nice functionality to keep handy when grilling. Easy to clean.
The thing gets you an accurate reading almost instantly. Even with ambient air temp - matches my thermostat reading in a matter of seconds.
Would recommend without hesitation.
