Instead of taking apart your keyboard and soldering in a new set of bulbs, instantly change your LED output with simple to install Cherry MX LED Color Modifiers. Now built with higher performance plastic for easier installation and further durability, these little pieces of plastic will make a big change to your desk space.
Note: On this drop, you will receive three packs of 45 units for a total of 135 Color Modifiers. At check-out, you can choose one of the following colors for each 45-unit pack: Yellow, Green, Blue, Orange, White, Purple, Pink, and Red. This drop is limited to 239 orders.
We have had varying success with PBT keycaps and these color modifiers. If your keycaps are made of PBT, especially thick PBT, these modifiers may not work with your keyboard.
Installation
Installation is literally a snap: remove your keycap, snap a Color Modifier onto the switch, and replace the keycap. As the plastic alters the color of your original LED instead of replacing it, the Color Changers work best with white LEDs, but if you know exactly the shade and composition you’re going for, the sky’s the limit. We are including 135 Color Modifiers in this pack, giving you enough materials to differentiate colors between sections of your keyboard or simply keep some spares around for experimentation or back-up.
