Levenger True Writer Fountain Pen
A Beautifully Made Everyday Pen
Toward the end of the 20th century—when the disposable pen was becoming more popular and the few companies who catered to serious collectors did so at very high prices—Levenger set out to make a modern fountain pen for everyday use. The result was the True Writer, which exhibits the same contemporary craftsmanship and attention to detail since its introduction in 1999.

Nib sizes are available in fine, medium, and broad. The Java finish with the broad nib is not available on this drop.
Swirled Resin or Solid Brass
The Levenger True Writer features a hand-turned resin barrel with a subtle swirl pattern—or, in the case of the Element, solid brass with gunmetal plating. Remove the postable threaded cap to reveal a German-made stainless steel nib. Fillable with ink cartridges or a converter, the True Writer has gleaming chrome accents and enough barrel space to carry a spare cartridge for longer departures from your desk.
