The knife is super sharp and easy to use. I haven't used the flint rod, but I'd imagine it'd require some practice and skill to use it successfully. It does throw good sparks though.
It's a good knife. The price has increased dramatically now that they're mainstream but I guess price is relative when they 're still super cheap. They make a great little line of blades. i keep one in pretty much every tackle, tool box, day pack, backpack , and truck / atv.
Very good knife. Mora blade, a fire steel in the handle. It is very light and yet convenient for a lot of tasks. 12c27 steel is always good and takes a very thin edge.
Very pleased with this purchase !!! Can’t go wrong with the Mora knives, affordable and high quality. I use this knife in my emergency kit in my car due to it being stainless steel, i’m not concerned with it rusting as with my other carbon steel knives. Love Mora knives !!!!
It's a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, the knife is nice and sharp. The fire stick works, but it's real hard and I haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet. On the other hand, the sheath is a little awkward, and my wife ended up slicing her hand open pretty well pulling it out. Still, it was certainly sharp!
TL;DR Good knife, tricky fire stick, not-so-great sheath.
