Truly amazing
These are my go to now over the shure846 for a warm sounding IEM with great bass that hits just right.

PapptonaI've got the Shure 846's as well. How would you compare the two?

Will_Bthe shure’s are a bit more detailed and do a better job noise isolating (I use them on the train etc.). The Aethers just have a warm, smooth and lovely sound signature that hits just right to my ears. It’s close but for me I like the Aethers over the 846’s.

Will_Bhappy to help! You piqued my interest and I’ve been listening to the Aether’s all morning, swapping back and forth with the 846’s and a few other IEMs to find the words to describe the sound better. In short, they’re just so much fun. Think of the the Shure846’s hooked up to a big tube amp. Everything is warmer, the lows and mids are amazing and definitely the highlight for me. if you’re on the fence I highly recommend the Aether’s This is definitely one of the most bang for your buck products on Drop. (Note:I’m using red spin fit tips for these. It took me awhile to find a good fit and I wish someone had recommended the spin fits to me early on.)

PapptonaWhat are you using for a cable? Ideally, I'd find something lightweight that doesn't add sound if the cable rubs on clothing or whatnot.

Will_BHere's a quick breakdown worth checking out before reading the rest of my response... I ended up buying moon audio bronze dragon IEM cables for these thinking I'd need to pair these with something special. I wouldn't say it was a bad move, but it was completely unnecessary. You can't go wrong with Silver-plated OFC cables if interference is a problem. If you want, you can experiment with copper to see if you get a warmer sound with the combo. Or, you could buy these and call it a day, which is my personal advice.
