A larger, more powerful version of the popular Lumintop Tool AAA, this one runs on a 14500 battery (which is included) and pumps out up to 550 lumens. Made with an anodized aluminum body, it features three modes, all of which can be cycled through by clicking the base Read More
I've lost so many flashlights when the clip fell off that “removable clip!” as a feature is an absolute nonstarter. None of my pocketknives have removable clips, and there's a reason for that. Can we please have a flashlight with an integral clip? One that *doesn't* come off? The flashlight is no good to me if it's lost in a field somewhere.
32usd international shipping...c'mon..that's just ridiculous!
If it got to my door in less than 10 days, maybe justifiable..but it won't..so it's not....
Is there even anyone at MD who checks the drops for deal-breaking issues like this??
If not, would happily fill the position I just invented (Seriously, the ingenuity & efficiency displayed right there is definitely worth employment!)
Just a heads up, Amazon selling AA 2.0 for $17.99 - 20% coupon =$14.39 free shipping with Prime! Does not include 14500 battery per this drop. I'm not bashing MD, I buy a lot from here but you have to do your research to ensure you are getting the best possible deal. Sometimes it's impossible to compete with Jeff's monster child! LOL
CpowCorrect, it does not include the 14500 battery as I mentioned in my original comment. The coupon has expired and is no longer available. I bought two of the Tool 2.0 for $28.78 shipped (already received). I was not making an "apples to apples" comparison, I was merely offering an additional option for anyone interested.
I joined the drop the last time this was available and it shipped with a 14500 rechargeable battery. I’ve been very happen with the flashlight and use it every day at work. I just ordered a second to have on hand if I ever need it.
johncsimaBecause Massdrop relies upon clearing obsolete stock to consumers who don't know any better. I keep checking back, but keep finding they're still scamming. I should know better.
Looks like the the Tool AA 1.0 which you guys have probably figured out has been surpassed by the Tool AA 2.0 that is available at that place for $17.99...
Has anyone else experienced a buzzing sound coming from this light when changing through the three modes? I have never experienced a flashlight making such a odd noise? I'm afraid this will only lead to more damage, and failure. I think I received a defective light... Please help, advise..
