HatchetmanBoth the SM-825DTH and SM-821DTH are for indoor use only and are powered by 5V AC adap;ter which is included with the camera. You can integrate them with our IWATCHALARMD system or use them as stand-alone IPcameras which can be accesed remotely using our free APP available on both Apple and Android platfomrs.

How does this compare to Scout? Have a Scout system and the company seems to be continuously going down hill. Their product quality for the prices they are charging doesn't seem right. I keep having door panels fail on me with their support causing the latest one to fail with a supposed firmware update.

BenDoverNot too familiar with the Scout monitoring system but our prices for sensors are more affordable and completley maintance free. All you would need to do is replace the AA battery once a year or whenever the sensor LED goes out. “No re-programming or update needed”.
