What size is the height adjustment strut? Mine is losing pressure, and I slowly sink. I need to replace this part.

Having the same issue. Squeaking like mad even after tightening bolts and lubricating.

I was actually just able to resolve my squeaking. I used some teflon bike chain lubricant on the exposed metal part on the bottom where the chair hinges back and forth and it helped a lot.

I was happy with the chair until my wife started using it and won't give it back. Now I have to order a second...

I was seriously ready to buy the New Aeron, fully loaded....they are drawing up a quote for me tomorrow Seeing this, it definitely makes me question it at the price they're gonna try to charge....but there are always knockoffs, and I do try to stay away from them when I can. Also, If this isn't the B size, it's worthless to me Anyway, any thoughts? I'm gonna go try the Steelcase Leap and Gesture tomorrow. I used a Gesture at work (or a damn good clone?) And it didn't have enough lumbar support for me though Also, is this fairly catproof? From what the sales rep told me, I can have it fixed 2-3 times for free, and the third time would just be like $50 (which is cool with me if I ruined it that many times)

Where are you trying these chairs? I would like to look around (do not want to drop a grand on a chair I can only hope I will like) but I can't find anywhere to look and test.

This chair gets rebranded and sold all over the place for less. Here is one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XR7ZLPR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_PI87DbM5SAPAV

This chair may have been cheaper at the time of posting, but it's more expensive now and clearly not the same chair. All of the adjustments are different, pieces are different sizes, and even the features are different like the seat material. While this chair is definitely not unique in design, this Amazon posting is not a rebrand.

Here's a pro tip, if you live within 100 miles of large businesses, check craigslist, you can find tons of Herman Millers Aeron's, and Steelcase gestures and leaps in last years model, in good condition, most of them completely functional, just not spec'd to the hilt, but with the essentials (tilt control, lumbar etc) for under 300$, and often under 200$. Living near San Francisco I recognize this is quite an unfair advantage to everyone else as there are literal warehouses overflowing with used top of the line chairs that are less than 2 years old that people are desperate to get rid of around here.
