KinsonHooliganI had the same issue with a loose cable, it is just something I put up with for now but this flaw makes my standing desk basically useless. It is unfortunate since I do really like the ultra wide monitor, but this review is probably the most accurate to my feelings on this monitor after owning it for a year or so.

It has no USB connectivity, the menu buttons are cheap plastic and unresponsive, and the menu system is terrible, but even worse it has some very questionable build quality. The stand is not very solid and will cause a lot of monitor wobble from any desk movement or vibration. When the monitor has been running a while (more than an hour) the metal trim-work becomes hot to the touch as though it has cables or wires that are not properly insulated running behind it, but by far the worst thing that is frankly unforgivable on a piece of hardware this expensive is the power cable connector. I'm not sure if I got a defective one or if this is how they all are, but the power cable connector on mine is wide open and very loose-fitting. The monitor will straight up shut off if the cable is pulled to far down by its own weight, so unless the cable is held at a certain angle it won't turn on. It's so loose that I have had it shut off just from me lightly hitting my knee on the corner of my desk and that is beyond infuriating for a $550 monitor. All these things add up to a 2 star instead of a 4 or 5.
In the end I don't feel that I got what I paid for, and had I known these things before hand I would have simply saved up more money and bought a better, more expensive monitor.
