Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. Like my HiFiMan 350 they were not great with the default setup of any of my gadgets, but with the inclusion of an amp or a dedicated DAC on the desktop, they were great but not tooooo great!
These headphones won't work as they should be until you combine them with an AMP/DAC for your PC/Laptop, or with a portable AMP for your mobile.
I should say Schiit Magni//Modi is your better option, but I just found out as of writing this reply that my Teac 101 is available on MS. Check it out here:

I think this might be the best option for you since it is within the price range of Schiit stack, but in a better range of AMPs/DACs.
