I wear 36 on Levis, i ordered 36 from this and it fits absolutely perfect, not an inch less or more.

Sizing/Fit - I used the sizing guide and with some minor variation, found them to fit as expected. Not sure about some of the sizing issues mentioned in other reviews (bootcut leg, etc.?!), but mine are generally accurate, and any variations are probably within N&F's spec anyway. I have bigger thighs (gym, running, etc), so sized up between the two sizes I was considering and I'm glad I did. The waist is a tad bigger than I'd prefer, but elsewhere it fits slim, but not tight. I can get my hands into my front pockets without any trouble. If I'd sized down, the waist, thighs, and calves probably would've been tight. I haven't washed them yet, so not sure how much shrinkage there will be. I'll try to remember to report back when I get around to doing that (but it will probably be at least a few weeks). After washing I'll probably send these out for hemming.
Material - as others mentioned, these are very lightweight. The lightest weight jeans I own, in fact. I find this - and the tiny bit of added stretch - have made for a very easy break-in period. Due to the lightweight, these have a very smooth hand, and small twill line, as expected. As for the stretch, you can feel it but it is very minimal. I find they are a pretty standard raw appearance in terms of color, and I look forward to seeing how they fade.
I'm personally not a fan of the patch artwork, but I plan to see what I can do to hasten the darkening of the leather. Regardless, I wear a belt, so am not that bothered by it. Only other complaint I have, is I wish the back pockets were like 1/2" deeper.

I received these a week ago and wanted to leave a few initial thoughts.
Fit:
- For reference, my legs laugh at anything labeled "skinny", or"slim". I'm 5'11", 163 lbs and a cyclist. My true waist is a 30, which is what I typically get in vanity sizing. This causes bottoms to sit on my hips, which is what I prefer. Most of my bottoms are 30s unless I get a 31 to fit my butt better. While my legs are "athletic", I do not lift in the gym or anything.
- The Naked x Massdrop Ichiban Weird Guy jeans that I got in a 30 fit my waist well but were quite tight on my legs. While I can wear the Ichiban weird guys, it's slightly uncomfortable as they squeeze my thighs and calves fairly tight. They certainly achieve the "skinny jean" look on a more athletic build.
- I wanted to try again because the Massdrop prices are pretty good for selvage denim. I was fretting over the Karui stretch in Weird Guy or the Ichiban in Easy Guy.
- I went with these, the Karui Stretch Weird Guy's. They feel like I expected the Ichiban's to fit. They are a "trim" silhouette without a lot of extra material (on me anyway). They are comfortable and they feel like they are cut a little bigger than the Ichiban's. They do not have a lot of stretch, but it is welcome when kneeling to tie shoes etc.
- These might be the lightest / thinnest pairs of denim that I've owned. This isn't a bad thing, but after the Ichiban's which are on the heavier side, I was surprised by these. I'm assuming they will be better in warmer temperatures that other denim, which I tend to over-heat in.
- The fabric has a bit of a sheen / slipperiness to it. They're not like tradition selvedge denim, but not like jeggings either. Sitting here with my ankle crossed over my knee, it's a little hard to keep my leg in place because there isn't much friction.
- I like the color of both the denim and the stitching
- I like the details like the selvedge edge trim on the coin / watch pocket.
- Removing the Naked x Massdrop patch is only a seam ripper away...

These fit like the Weird guy cut is supposed to. Several others I've purchased have had a slightly different fit but these are perfect. The light weight and stretchy denim are perfect for wearing on a plane or someplace you need comfortable jeans. These are high quality jeans.

Wow, what a tremendous disappointment. These pants are not at all the standard "Weird Guy" fit from N&F, and I can't imagine who would find these to be good-fitting pants. They're tight and restrictive through the waist and seat (I'm not fat at all and ordered my size), then balloon out to boot-cut+ level below the knee. Absolutely unwearable. I'm putting them in the mail to return as soon as possible.

While this is overall a nice pair of jeans with great details, I have to say that the fit is inappropriately described. These are ALMOST more of a bootcut fit (without as much of the flare shape), or a regular/classic fit. Any kind of cuffing or rolling (despite what the photos seem to suggest) makes them billowy and awkward if you’re more style-conscious. So overall, while I like the quality of these jeans, they’re not really appropriately advertised.

Great jeans. Fit as expected.
I'm 5'11, roughly 192 lbs. I wear a 36 waist on jeans and pants alike, though sometimes I can get away with 35.
Happy to report these jeans fit great, look good and get compliments.
