I finally got these headphones. In the description is clearly written "Made in Ireland"! I have also read and heard many times that these are a product made in Ireland. But the delivered Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee is labeled "Made in Romania"!!! This is fraud or misinformation! And meanwhile they cost 10$ more. I am not happy about it. Besides, I'm not very impressed by the sound. Unfortunately, I can't quite understand the hype.
What went wrong? Where are yours manufactured?
Chr.HI will have to check my box, mine just came in on Saturday so I'm going to assume they are Made in Romania as well. However Sennheiser has a new factory that they own entirely there so I don't think it would effect quality. Mine are hooked up via a Liquid Spark and sound great.
Chr.HThe drivers are being manufactured by the same line and factory in Ireland. They are moving to Romania for the rest.
The same suppliers and specifications are being used. This is direct word from Will Bright
erickongThanks. I also just read about the site on their page. All is fine. I'm satisfied with it.

trdavisWithin standard unit of measuring deviation and sample variation. I recently talked to the HD 58X designer at Sennheiser (Ronja Harste), and Sennheiser officially confirms that they haven’t changed the design, QC, or even the tooling for the enclosure (just moved it to Romania).
EvshrugBtw, Sennheiser has their own driver manufacturing facilities and proprietary processes. Tolerances are so tight, you can mix drivers from two different HD 58Xes and they’ll still measure matched.
