Shortly after designing Amazing Chocolatier, Zambumon got to work on two other sets. The first was Nautilus, a Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea–themed set with a bold blue colorway. The second was much more subtle, and didn’t yet have a name. What it did have was a colorway made up of creamy beige alphas, golden yellow modifiers, and black legends. Now, after years of fine-tuning, GMK Serika is finally here. The set gets its name from designer Zambumon’s interest in the Japanese manga series Space Brothers (Uchuu Kyoudai). Itou Serika is the main character’s love interest, known for her intelligence and passion for helping others.
To avoid confusion with the current checkout system, we will be changing the drop points manually. We are paying attention to the number of child kits being bought as well. If they reach certain quantities, we will adjust their prices accordingly. You may notice fluctuations in your checkout price as we make these adjustments on the back end, but you will not be charged more for anything. To see the current number of kits sold and current drop points, check below - updated 5/30.
Made in Germany using custom Cherry tooling, GMK Serika is compatible with a variety of different keyboards, including those with non-standard and standard layouts. The keycaps themselves are made from 1.5-millimeter-thick doubleshot ABS for longevity and strength.
Comprising 150 keycaps, this kit is the starting point for any keyboard, providing coverage for boards like the Massdrop CTRL, Tokyo60, Nemo, Uniqey C70, Leopold FC660 and FC980, TADA68, 96-key layouts, and winkeyless boards. It also covers them all in ISO layouts. The Core kit comes with 2.25U and 1.75U Shift keys. One 7.00U spacebar and two 6.00U spacebars (one with a centered stem and the other one with an off-centered one) have also been included.
This add-on kit covers 40% keyboard layouts such as the Minivan, Minorca, Sebright, JD40, and Planck (in both MIT and GRID layout). The 40s kit comes with many accent keys as well as 1.00U and 2.00U convex keycaps, plus a 2.00U Shift key. You will still need a Core kit to fully cover your 40% board.
This add-on kit features a minimalistic set of doubleshot modifiers designed by MiTo. It provides enough keycaps to cover standard 60%, WKL, HHKB layout, 65%, and Uniqey C70 in both ANSI and ISO layouts.
The ErgoDox kit provides a full set of alphas and blank modifiers that allow you to cover an ErgoDox layout. The kit includes six R2/3 2.00U keycaps.
This kit features a set of geometric designs, plus a Massdrop and Uniqey keycap. It ships with gray arrows.
