To install the O-Rings, simply slide your keycaps off, pop the O-Rings into position, and slide the caps right back. In addition to reducing the noise output, the O-Rings act as spacers that reduce the travel distance on your keystrokes, thereby increasing your overall typing speed. They also add in some ergonomic performance, thanks to the increased shock absorption.
