Note to anyone who might consider this if it comes back to Drop:
Doesn't work with my Massdrop ALT. Powers the backlighting (poorly, it's not bright enough and cuts out) and the keys outright don't register. Not enough power.

nyiddleFor me, using this cable meant that my external keyboard would consistently lose the connection to my MacBook Pro when it went to sleep. The LEDs remained powered but the keys didn't work when waking the laptop back up. I'd have to disconnect and reconnect the cable.
Definitely not worth the $ and the wait.

Anyone know why its going to be almost 3 months from the drop to ship these out? Seems like a long time.

I saw the other coiled cable drop had some poor reliability issues in a lot of the reviews. Does anyone have long term experience with Mechcables who can comment on the reliability of these? Thanks!

I have to say, this pattern is really... not pretty. I invested in a pretty extensive Pulse collection and I'm disappointed there is no solid color option. The 1976 cable last week was beautiful.
