Aren't Cherry RGB switches the same as the regular kind aside from that they have translucent housings and a slot for a LED? What's the point of having them in a switch tester alongside the non-RGB versions of the same switches?

SeaWyrmYou are right and I have no idea why they would do it

Anyone know what these look like on the underside? This could potentially be a really cheap function pad for anyone that wants to try hand-wiring...

H2WhoahNot possible by default. These are cheap single pieces of laser cut acrylic. So to handwire and fit the promicro or controller would mean raising it by another 10mm or so.

My OCD is kicking in seeing those first 3 switches in the first column of the 4x4 not matching the orientation of the rest.

The 4x4 has "Cherry MX black, red, brown, blue; Gateron blue, brown, clear, green"
If I do my math right, 4x4 is 16, but there is only 8 switches installed? Or do you get 2 of each?

PoblopuabloFWIW, a quick glance at the picture of the 4×4 appears to show two of each switch type.
