do you do up your pedal nice and tight with it then just cable tie it to the crank? why is this being marketed to people who may have hit their head? is there a ruler on the back of it? why would anyone ever need a super thin ring spanner?
I kinda hope this doesn't end up in the dustbin of 'widgets that were actually innovative but never made very well and not useful enough to replace tried-and-true tools'. A keychain version with 1/4 and 5/16 wrenches would be neat.
LeoangerWhat would you ever practically use that for that warrants carrying it on a keychain? It's not innovative in any way, it's a solution searching for a problem.
CatpantsI come across 1/4" and 5/16" hex screw heads and 5/16" nuts/bolts often enough that such a back-up tool would get used if I always had it on me. And if it could securely hold a driver bit, the usefulness would be extended. This tool is innovative by virtue of its compactness.
On a modern road bike there is no need to have a wrench at all on the road. The only thing I can think of that a wrench would be useful for on the road would be for pedals, but most pedals can be tightened with a hex key, and the basic bike multi tools always have them.
