Guys. Hate to break it to you, but this is cheaper direct from Mionix. $62 incl tax and shipping, vs the 64 or whatever it was in the basket for the final drop price. And it ships sooner.

Can confirm. Just ordered one directly from them. I don't know if it's a glitch in their system but thats what it comes out to.

So... did Massdrop contact the manufacturer to increase their price... just so Massdrop can stay competitive in their sale? Not cool, B.Hutch.

Why is international shipping on this mouse so expensive? I payed only $7 shipping to New Zealand on my Mionix Avior from Massdrop (which also only cost $40 btw) earlier this year! Is there anything to justify the price hike? I understand this mouse is newer, but still, there are full size keyboards that ship internationally for nearly this price! What's going on here?

The Mionix Castor vs the Logitech G303. Any opinions?

I thank you for your recommendations. The reason i choose the G303 is because currently you can't beat the price and even though it has an odd shape it does not outweigh the other factors that I am looking for(those clicky Mouse 1 and 2 buttons).

The only way those drawings mean anything is if you used a robotic arm or something to make those drawings, otherwise the differences between them come down more to your own personal differences in movements rather than changes in the sensors.

Scientifically, there is a huge variable in the way for those drawings to have any meaning whatsoever, as by the looks of it, that was your hand moving the mice.

After having tried the Avior and Naos to finally learn that I'm a claw grip user, I've settled on the g303. I won't be getting the Castor despite it being more claw-grip friendly than either the Avior or the Naos, because when you try to design a mouse for all grips, you end up with something that is not truly comfortable for some grips more than others. The g303 is the best fingertip grip mouse out there, and is above average for claw, and awful for palm. Just by looking at this mouse I can be 100% certain that the butt of the mouse will slip out of the bottom of my palm if I tried to claw grip it. Mionix will pique my interest if they develop a claw-grip exclusive mouse.

smikOne can only hope theyll come to their senses. Keep it relatively the same shape except light and a good optical sensor.

Is this the 2015 version or the new version? by contacting Mionix I've been informed there are few differences between the two:
The differences on these are that they run on different software/firmware. The newer one have a newer firmware and software, right now they can not change the software on the old one but in the future they might have a solution for that! The newer version has better key-binding support, lower click latency , max dpi of the native sensor dpi(5000) and is the one that will be supported for the future. The older one have a few more lightning options and higher max dpi of 10k (which is not native, just "double" 5000 DPI - useless)
**nonetheless- this is one of the best mice on the market (especially for gaming), problem is , if its the 2015 version then this deal simply unworthy and you can get at amazon for better price, but if its the newer version then you might save few bucks here (around 8$ for me as shipping included etc' will be more on amazon).

Well I don't have to buy to tell the difference, hopefully some1 in-charge of this drop would give a damn and post whether its the new version or 2015, lol.. it really bothers me that there's no clear answer, since if it was the new one, I'd actually buy it.

Sort of Voids any reason of buying. Can pick this mouse up for cheaper on Amazon if I play my cards right.
KabbageIt looks like you were checking out with the Naos QG Optical. This mouse can not be found anywhere for under $100 so I would say that our price of $72.74 is a pretty good deal. Even if you check Camel Camel Camel for historical pricing back to this products launch date the cheapest Amazon has had it is $92.95.
Massdrop for 4 years now has had a great relationship with Mionix in which they exclusively launch new products with us and give our community members the best deals anywhere!

A quick google search showed me that Australians can buy the QG for $99 AUD ($73 USD) I only looked at the top result for shopping to find this. (I am Australian so I get different results to the rest).
Massdrop would still be a better deal for everyone else though. The shipping costs would make it cheaper through massdrop for everyone but Australians.
EDIT: It's also $80 USD at amazon https://www.amazon.com/Mionix-MNX-01-26003-G-Optical-Smart-Gaming/dp/B01LXB7BL6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494570402&sr=8-1&keywords=naos+qg

Before you buy this mouse, please note that there's other Mionix mice you can buy that are better suited for certain grips. Follow this guide below to determine what's best for you.
Palm - Naos 7000 Claw - Avior 7000 Fingertip - Castor

Watsyurdeallol no. Castor isn't a fingertip mouse. I can hardly even claw it let alone go fingertip style. Its closer to a palm style mouse.
Anyways i got my castor from the last drop. The mouse is good, maybe bit big for small hands if you cant palm style. The rubber on the side will take some getting used to. Overall its a good mouse, tracks well at low dpi and is shaped alright. Ive had no issues with the mouse as of yet.

The real matter here is, are you in this Group Buy?
If not, then why are you still here complaining and whining about this product?
I am in this Group Buy so I have every right to call out tossers who keep on trying to derail this because you have sad individuals like yourself who haven't committed into this Group Buy at all then suddenly becomes some sort of 'fake' non-proven receiver of said item. Anything you say from now on is exactly that, hence sorry to burst your self important bubble here but you are NOT part of this Group Buy, so WE don't need your pathetic attempts to justify your own existence on MassDrop.
Only people who have put down their money for this should comment here and give recommendations but anyone who wastes valuable space here trying to make themselves important and valid, just degrades the tone of this site.
Tyre-kickers like yourself are everywhere in life, maybe because you have some sort of psychological issues or not taking your meds but that's inconsequential to you posting absolute rubbish here, disguised as so-called 'factual' information (your own personal issues).
