Am I missing something? $100 for non-hot swap, cherry switches, and not even a built in battery seems a bit expensive Edit: it comes with a wrist rest...

MickifreeTo be fair, it is a steel case and has 2.4 Ghz which could be attractive for $100 if it has good latency. But there are better options out there at this price point

CaptainSpittalThe case is ABS. The backplate is steel however. I absolutely agree with you on there being much better options at this price point.

MickifreeIt’s interesting because of the PBT Keycaps and steel plate (I guess it’s just for reinforcement), also I consider replaceable batteries to be a major plus (not landfill as soon as the batteries wear out in ~3 years). With that said, I’m looking for Bluetooth functionality for switching between my iPad, Mac, and PC on the fly (especially if I was doing a stream or VoIP call). I don’t know all the options with those features around this price point.

EvshrugInteresting note about the batteries. Are the built in batteries typically not recyclable?
