With a unique layout and high-performing components, Mistel’s Q75 Keyboard makes a striking statement on any desktop. Dylan.AragornKeychron didn't invent the 75% layout though? Just searching up "75% keyboard layout" yields many keyboards that look similar (Keychron does show up pretty often since it's trendy):

A lot of these keyboards came out before the Keychron K2. Also, it's not like the K2 has a very distinct style, it's a typical 75% with a simple black case. Mistel at least has lock indicator lights. As for keycaps, that's not something that is entirely original on the K2 either, the color scheme is very similar to something like GMK Dolch but with orange accents.
The K2 is probably a better buy for most people because it is hotswap, but I wouldn't say this is a copycat. 75% is not a new layout, Keychron just brought it to a more mainstream audience.
MoussierIt's wireless, and a 75% layout (no number pad, and an abridged column of keys above the arrow cluster, instead of a full navigation block there).
Mistel offers the Q75 in two color choices named Gloaming and Bunny: https://www.mistelkeyboard.com/products. The Drop title says Gloaming, but the photos are of the Bunny (orange space bar). Which one is being sold here?
mistel makes some of the best doubleshot pbt keycaps ($45 for a set of 139), they are now on ikbc boards as well, so that is where some of the cost comes in. cherry switches run 40-50c a piece so that is another $30 or so. there are better boards out there, but this isn't so bad, though at this point I would not use a board without lubing the switches.
Am I missing something? $100 for non-hot swap, cherry switches, and not even a built in battery seems a bit expensive
Edit: it comes with a wrist rest...
MickifreeIt’s interesting because of the PBT Keycaps and steel plate (I guess it’s just for reinforcement), also I consider replaceable batteries to be a major plus (not landfill as soon as the batteries wear out in ~3 years).
With that said, I’m looking for Bluetooth functionality for switching between my iPad, Mac, and PC on the fly (especially if I was doing a stream or VoIP call). I don’t know all the options with those features around this price point.
