I got this keyboard 3 days ago from here. First day, worked like a charm. I downloaded the drivers from monoprice's website, set a few macros, the switches felt good, backlight was nice. However the very next day and subsequent days, the keyboard malfunctioned in many ways. First of all, it would not register any keys at all. After unplugging and re-plugging it in, the error message "USB Device not recognized: One of the devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it". Restarted my computer several times to no avail. Occasionally the keyboard would work after re-plugging it multiple times but would stop working again shortly after. Uninstalling and reinstalling the monoprice drivers also did not help.
Tried plugging it into my laptop without downloading the monoprice drivers and the same issue occurs. Keyboard would work for a while and then stop registering keys for no reason. Re-plugging it brought up the same "USB device not recognized" message.
Are there any fixes or am I SOL? I don't stay in the US so I really wish to avoid shipping it back.
EDIT (18 Jul 2014): After posting this comment I emailed massdrop and shipped the keyboard back to them. They paid for the shipping from Singapore back to USA and then had a keyboard shipped back to me when they received it. Massdrop's customer support is really good - emails were replied to promptly with no troubles.
