I love this keycap. It looks even better in person and I was extremely impressed at how intricate it is.
However, I had some trouble getting this cap to fit on my stabs - even when using different stabs to make sure it wasn't my stabs. I ended up needing to take a plier and slightly bend the standoff of the keycap (the part on the bottom of the keycap that connects it to the stem of the switch) to widen the gap that the stem slid into. After tweaking that a bit, I was able to get it onto the stabs/switch and it worked well. I did need to replace the switch with one with a heavier spring, since the keycap is pretty heavy (switched it with a L+F black ink). After that, worked like a charm.
I'd like to start off by saying this keycap is absolutely splendidly made. If your keyboard is able to equip it, it's easily one of the most intricate, detailed and indescribably beautiful artisan keycaps out there.
That, however, is my problem. It needs to work with the keyboard and switches, and unfortunately with mine, it's not the most compatible artisan keycap in the world. It's a lot heavier than my Glorious Pandas seem to be able to handle, and regardless of which key I use it on - whether it be Enter, Backspace, Shift - pressing it often causes the key to sink until it's hit again. It's also significantly louder than the rest of my keys, too, and for those reasons, it's unfortunately been delegated to my right Shift, which I never use. Again, aesthetically amazing, but compatibility is worth checking before hitting buy.
This cap fits very nicely on the enter key and I've been using it for a few months now. I ended up buying heavy springs to fit the new weight of the cap since I still wanted it to spring back with as much force as my old one did.
I had them on Oil Kings but it was to heavy for it so I swapped the spring for a 150g spring which was overkill but definitely worked
I initally thought that $65 for one keycap was a lot but I went ahead and bought two of these anyway
I do not regret it at all as it has elevated my build to another level - got it paired with GMK Red Samurai on my Ikki68 Aurora R2 and the build looks very tame without this keycap
