The waistband is elastic and the drawstring does not go all the way around the waist, making it basically useless. They’re true to size, but even with the drawstring fully tightened, they fit about like gym shorts. I also had stitching come undone after wearing about a dozen times. They’re more of a casual short than anything meant for outdoors IMO.

Can anyone comment on the fit of these shorts through the hips and legs? Are they a slim fit or forgiving?
