Product Description
When building your mechanical keyboard, modifying and lubing your switches helps them feel smoother and perform their best. However, taking each switch apart and lubricating one-by-one individually can prove to be a hassle Read More

superior quality product
Well built solid took. Versatile. Can be used for bases, but also alternating tops and bottoms. Keeps spring close-by and prevents it rolling away. Easily saves it cost in productivity with a single keyboard. Khails fit when turned 90 degrees.

Very convenient
It's nothing crazy, but it is super useful and very convenient to have, and in my opinion a great value. Holds more switch housings than I could possibly need for any build, and it's just a good tool to keep you organized.

Very Positive
The size tolerances on the vacancies for each of the components is done well. I have used the station to lube around 30 switches at a time, and then again to lube about 60 switches. I found that doing batches of switches in groups of 30 is about the sweet spot, as that will take about an hour to do, and allows you to get up and stretch a bit. I tend to use the second row to hold the top of the switch, meaning i'm taking up about 2 rows for 10 switches. 30 switches, means I'm taking up 6 rows. That said, i'd like to see an offering of about half the size for portability's sake. Pros: Once you set up your switches, lubing them goes very fast The cut-outs are very well done, and provide good tolerances for each of the switch components. Cons: A little large for the amount of switches you will typically lube in a given session. No dedicated spot to put the top of the switch. This is overcome by simply using the next row, but it feels wasteful to do this.

As advertised
I found this supremely useful for two switch lubing sessions last weekend. It is very helpful to be able to keep track of what has already been lubed and you can do all the stems up front which means less fumbling.

This product is labeled incorrectly. It's NOT a lubestation.
This product, as a lubestation, is a complete and utter failure. One uses a lubestation to make the daunting task of lubing many switches a quicker and easier endeavor. This little item makes it so it is harder and slower than just lubing one switch at a time. And I'm not attempting humor in any way. And I bought like three of these thinking surely Drop cannot get this wrong! There are so many files with the correct sizes all over the internet. All they had to do was create the file, get one cut, lube some switches to make sure someone didn't bork it up along the production chain somehow and then sell it to the masses. Easy peasy! Except this....unfortunately, is Drop. I dont know how they messed this one up but its just another sad product added to the long list of other mechanical keyboard related failures in the past two years. If you have to have this for the aesthetics, be prepared to hand file each and every housing cutout quite a lot until the switch housings fit snuggly but can easily be taken out by hand (no tool whatsoever). All these 4 and 5 star reviews are showing me that either Drop pays for these reviews, is making them, themselves or the reviewers dont lube any switches but assume this product would work. Mine hang on my wall as switch display units. An earthquake could occur and I'm guaranteed the switches would never fall out.

Too tight
No posts fit into my station, not even the Drop made holy pandas. I would give them some credit since the other pieces fit, but this is such a simple product, it should just all work. Kind of disappointing….

It sucks
The tolerances are too tight. The switch, stem and spring holder holes need to be bigger. Edges are sharp enough to give you a paper cut. I would recommend some sort of beveled or rounded edge. The feet were good but maybe use a more rubbery material for more grip. I would also recommend a more rectangular shape so that switches are closer to the person while they are lubing so they don't have to lean in but that is not a real issue. It still does it's job but very badly and in most instances you can't put the stems in the holes.

Form over Function
Looks cool but the holes to hold the switch are too tight. Also, the holes to hold stems and springs are too close. Would recommend looking elsewhere. Lots of other options that will ship to you much sooner as well.

SolraacToo tight and too close. This was not designed by someone who had EVER lubed a switch in a group.

Looks great but functions terribly.
The look of switch lubing station is great - a beautiful piece indeed. However, the cons far out-way the aesthetics of this lube station. The switch sockets are way too close together. The sockets for the springs and stems are too close to the switch sockets. The switch cutouts are too small to fit the bottom housing in for lubing - you have to really press the housing in to get it to actually fit and this of course makes it pretty difficult to remove your lower switch housing from the station. Very disappointed in this product. I will be using it to hold my switch collection instead of what it was advertised to do.
