Originally designed for law enforcement personnel, the Nextorch TA-30 maximizes performance with its CREE XP-L V6 LED for a long throw and consistent beam. It’s so reliable, in fact, that it earned the honor of a 2017 Red Dot Award. As a flashlight, it’s a beast, delivering up to 1,100 lumens on high mode all the way down to 15 on low for a solid 22 hours. But as a self-defense weapon and emergency tool is where it really shines. That’s because it’s crafted with a super hard nano-ceramic strike bezel, which comes in handy if you need to break through a window in a pinch or defend yourself as a last-ditch effort. The hard-anodized aluminum body is 2-meter impact resistant and IPX-8 waterproof as well. Rounding out the torch is the momentary on mode, strobe mode, and removable pocket clip.
