Got the Plums. Worth every penny. After a day of some moderate digital exercise due to the bump in spring weight going from Cherry Browns to Kailh Plums, they've been a silky dream. I know sound is an objective thing based on the baseplate and keycaps and more, but these in the same keyboard with the same keycaps sound better than the Browns I was using. Something about the bottoming out sound is so much better. No lube used at all, keyboard still pings probably due to the stabilizers, but just something intangible I can't put into words. I am still a cherry boy though when it comes to keyboards, only having tried the two switches I talked about. Edit 10-5-'18 Going back and forth with another set of MX Brown switches that I recently tested (different colored housings, two different batches from two different websites) and I found that these Plums have less travel before hitting the tactile bump. The Plums have a smoother tactile bump, smoother travel throughout the stroke besides the bump. Yet, I think that the Browns have a bigger bump, regardless of the sharper tactility. Personally, I may have to look into some linear switches since I'm finding myself more attracted to the soft Plums, but still a great switch nonetheless.

Actuation force is just right for me. It’s more than the standard cherry but it isn’t really fatiguing to type on. (When I first started gaming with them they were slightly uncomfortable but I got used to them). Their weight, tactility, and clickiness makes them feel super satisfying to push the keys. I’m also using good key caps just to make sure I’m not loosing out on the feel of these switches update: I put them on a ducky one with a lot of desoldering and soldering and they still feel super awesome so yeah. I just wish they didn't get picked up by mics as easily but it's ok
