Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. If your budget allows, buy Opus#1 or Fiio X5iii for midrange DAP, or Chord Mojo or Oppo HA-2SE for midrange DAC/AMP.
If you want to go mobile, my recommendation is that don't buy a dedicated dac/amp because in the end you would need to do stacking with your Samsung. Or maybe you could try to see the review for dragonfly. The shape is like an usb, but still you'd have to manage with extra cable hanging out from your power jack.
In any event, the Cayin N3 and the Fiio X5iii can act as a dedicated dac/amp, so you can connect it to your pc/mac should you have the need someday.
