I just have to say that I am extremely pleased with this light. The beam is precise and throws forever, the claims of a kilometer of throw does not seem outlandish (on the highest setting of course). Then there's the beam, sure the main focus is unbelievably bright, but there's also a good flood effect around the beam. The idea of the a diffuser is interesting to me and I may try that in the future, but I really truly bought this for the ability to throw a spot. I also have to say I really haven't noticed anything about the tint that I find unpleasant, if it's shaded toward green I hardly notice.
