A classically shaped fountain pen with a wild side, the Pilot Metropolitan White Tiger features a brass barrel with a glossy white finish and stainless steel nib, trim, and pocket clip. A subtle pattern of tiger stripes decorates the band near the cap, while the pen’s substantial weight, smooth feel, and comfortable grip make it ideal for everyday use. When paired with the J. Herbin 1670 Emerald of Chivor ink, the color scheme recalls a familiar holiday scene: a white blanket of snow and forests of evergreens.
Note: This drop includes one Pilot Metropolitan White Tiger fountain pen with a fine or medium nib, one bottle of J. Herbin 1670 Emerald of Chivor ink, and one Pilot CON-40 piston converter. This drop is limited to 97 bundles.
The oldest name in ink production, J. Herbin was established in 1670 by an enterprising sailor carrying sealing wax formulas from his travels in India, and later designed specialty ink formulations for such French luminaries as Louis XIV and Victor Hugo. The newest ink in the 1670 anniversary collection, Emerald of Chivor is named for the very stone that J. Herbin is said to have carried in his pocket during his voyages, and reveals gold flecks with each stroke of the pen.
