The quality on this is awful, the finish looks nothing like the drop photos and it has a horrible smell to it.
Hoping I can get my money back.
Update: Massdrop issued a full refund to me.
swampkittenwhile i have to agree with you on the smell when i first opened it, it got way better after i put it outside on the porch for another two days. the smell is now mostly gone, only noticeable when i put it really close to my nose. its not great for sure, but i can live with that.
NOICE! Got mine today, ordered the numpad version, and an extra 100 posts. Got 30 posts with the frame and 109 in the 100x bag :D

Hope none of them break!
BTW: Mine didn't come with a vertical hanger, just a horizontal one. Also, the frame is pretty jacked! dings, scratches, and marks abound. But honestly, this weird choice of using these "rustic" style frames hide most of them. They ALMOST look like they're intensional. I guess if I sand the edges like muni_chang did with his, they'll look better.
sevenseacatYou're talking out your ass, of course I contacted support first. They told me to go to hell and that there was no way to have my order properly fulfilled, and offered me a $5 coupon.
I opened this late but... I only have like 50 stems in a pack that's supposed to be 85+, and the paper-thin stand tore right off (along with much of the metal assembly) from the back.
This thing is a nearly-total piece of trash. It's like a Yugo. It works for it's intended purpose, but provides almost literally no other function or polish. The quality is atrocious.
I don't personally have enough cool looking novelty caps to display so this product isn't for me. I do, however, would love to see some clear plastic/acrylic storage trays for storing & organizing keycap sets. I currently store them in ziploc bags or paper boxes my keycap sets shipped in, but I'd like to step it up a level or two without spending $40 to store a single set. I've seen some storage trays here n there online, but none are quality products.
Given many of us have multiple keycap sets, I suspect such a product would do well on MD. Sorry for veering off on a tangent but I'm hoping the seller might be interested.
Yeah, I know she was just talking s**t when she responded. Took me a couple of days to realized, but yeah. Its Massdrop...gotta take everything they say with a grain of salt.
I don't know how Massdrop manages to so consistently, reliably, and dependably get every single order completely wrong. Utterly amazing. They don't make the product, their only job is QC and fulfillment, and they ALWAYS mess it up.
I received only 50 stems with mine, and those stems were completely loose in the box, with an empty bag next to them.
Product itself is pretty awesome but fuck assdrop at this point.
sevenseacatWell, I have an actual justified reason, whereas this guy just decided he doesn’t like me because I’m upset I didn’t get what I paid for multiple times after doing over a thousand dollars of business with MassDrop.
Any option for ONLY mx stems? Bought the base model at 1st drop and i put the gmk plum in it. Im planning to change keycap set every month just cycling them with my other sets with out removing the mx stems everytime will help a lot.
