I guess we'll be getting our Plancks some day, but I'll believe that when I see it. Future MD Planck buyers beware this dude has got a lot of kinks to work out of his manufacturing process before he can even think of handling another drop. One thing for sure he must learn is how to estimate delivery dates and to share that with his customers.

jackhumbertJack -- You obviously have a loyal following here and that's a beautiful thing, but that can quickly evaporate if you do not meet your commitments. You need to be able to measure your process. You should know when to expect parts to arrive, how long it takes to inventory, how long it takes to assemble a Planck, quality assurance, etc. At the end of the timeline is shipment. There are tools to help with that process. I am sure there are better and I am not trying to promote a product here, but I have used Project. Project and applications like it help you put mileposts together and measure your progress and answer questions like, when will a product ship? Based on all of the variables involved that date could change, but you will always know what that date is by revising each milestone along the way. All I know is that if my boss came to me and asked when a project is expected to complete and I did not answer him with some sort of timeline I would not be around very long.

waitingEstimates are just that estimates, and then you have to take into account the known unknowns and the unknown unknowns (aka unexpected circumstances). This is the first order of this kind for this company, it's simple nonsense that they would have every variable nailed down to the point where they've got it down to a science. Drops for big companies with warehouses full of stock even go late sometimes. Everybody here would like to receive their keyboard (or kit) sooner rather than later but spreading negativity won't help.

Bobby_GanoushDude, I get where you are coming from (KC60 drop fiasco), but you made your point already. From the turds on your posts, you are not going to convince anyone on here to abandon Massdrop, OLKB, etc. And at this point, you can't make Jack or the ships, cars, planes carrying the materials to go faster.
Don't add another stress to your life. If you can't wait or acting on principle, just cancel your order. And don't use Massdrop as much in the future. After the KC60 drop, I know I have stopped myself from spending a lot more money on this website.
My crazy theory is that Jack is sitting on all the materials and purposely delaying sending it out so everyone has one less Christmas present
