Is it okay to use a titanium spoon to stir in that pot?
Also, because of the non-stick coating, I feel compelled to carry the bowl (which I don't really need) just to protect the coating from the canister etc. (I suppose I could use a bandanna)
Am I being overly protective? Is it tougher than I think?

chuggerI use a buff to keep the canister wrapped up in mine. Mainly so it doesn't rattle around when I'm on the bike.
Love this set - I've had it for a few years and use it frequently on moto and bicycle overnights.

chuggerI have used a titanium spoon and haven't had a problem, but then again I am not scraping the pan. I didn't think I was going to use the bowl either, but I have been using it.

Does anyone know if Massdrop has a phone number? My stove was marked as delivered on 9/30, but I did not receive it. I have been waiting a few days to hear back from customer service after submitting support requests. I'm pretty bummed because I was hoping to use this stove on an upcoming trip. Now I don't know if I should order something else or wait for a replacement...

Anyone have any favorite fuel canister vendors?
ttran946Honestly as far as I can tell the MSR and Jetboils are the same, and I don't really think you can find many "off" brands any more. Seems to be a case of the industry evening out over the years.

How does this compare to the lite series? Those looks more windproof and potentially higher efficiency.

Thanks! Will check it out!
Thanks Jim you answered my question before I even asked it. Recently got a Windburner, no doubt it excels at boiling in all conditions but it's a one trick poney and I'm still shopping for something windproof I can actually cook with.

Would this primus set be worth it over the primus eta lite set on Amazon for around the same price?

Used this stove since the previous drop. Really impressed with it so far.
This is a killer drop! If I didn't have every one of these pieces (that I bought individually and for much more than $70) I'd be all over this action. Highly recommend snatching this deal up!

Would this stove be compatible with the same isobutane containers as any other Jetboil or MSR stove?

Montag@Montag It would indeed. You can use pretty much any gas canister that has a 7/16 UNEF threaded connector. There are some exceptions however. See: https://adventuresinstoving.blogspot.com/2016/11/can-i-use-any-brand-of-gas-canister.html

MontagAs long as it has 7/16 single thread it should be fine.

d.fedczukAt $55 below MSRP? Yeah. Pretty much. I don't know how MD pulled that one off. Now, when can they get those prices on the rest of their stuff? :)
