Product Description
While you can fill up your quilt with any number of batting options, you need a high performance interior to really make your stitch work shine. Wool batting outperforms most options by virtue of its light but warm construction, breathable weave, and lovely draping effect—but not all wool is created equal Read More

The reason I originally participated in Massdrop is because it was promoted as a site where individuals could access wholesale prices by joining a large group of buyers. This drop and increasingly more drops are just simply retail (manufacturer's stated retail prices are often just window dressing). I can purchase these items for essentially the same cost, but get them now or when I need them. The cost for a queen sized and twin sized Quilter's Dream Wool Batting including shipping (Prime) on Amazon is $59. I can get it even less at quilt shows. Your price including shipping is $57--no significant savings. I post about this in hopes that you can do a better job of negotiating a real savings in the future.

Amazon has free shipping even if you don't have prime...

For me the Prime Subscription is spread over so many items including tv & music streaming that the amt it would add to any purchase is a fraction of a cent

Massdrop, you're teaching me to NOT look at items if the shipping cost isn't listed on the first product page.........

Uhh, looks like we need to give our warehouse staff some training on the packaging requirements for wool batting... Mainly that it doesn't require airbags to keep it from being damaged in transport!!!

Hey, my mom is just starting quilting, she's looking for a good batting (all being done by hand). Would this be an appropriate material? If not, any suggestions on where to begin?
Thanks!

I'd love to see an option for purchase the super queen size. I've seen QD wool pop up several times but never with that option... how about offering the super queen size.

I've used this Dream Wool batting in two quilts now. It's suppleness after quilting is outstanding! Also, it is NOT as heavy as cotton batting and the quilting stitches are beautifully defined!
