So I was trying to start up my orbit range pocket drone and and I noticed that the wing is on the top left and bottom right would not start spinning what should I do because I’ve tried to take it apart and reassemble it and see what was wrong but I didn’t notice anything is there anything I should try.
I cannot get this so called out of the box and fly in minutes drone. Downloaded the app and can't get the wifi to work. Most frustrating drone I have had to deal with. Done everything as per instructions. Went out bought a new ipad (old one 1st gen) not happy.d
I know this drop is long gone but I'm posting here in case MD runs this drop again. I bought this at what I thought was a great price for a starter drone, something to learn on and if it broke then no big deal.
Mine never worked out the box. I could never get the controller or the downloadable one for you phone to work. Both phone and controller could never sync with them. Having no info whatsoever online should have been a warning, unfortunately I never looked before I bought.
IAmACheapSkateGiven how difficult it's been to find reviews online, it's hard to give a particularly good answer.
That said, I took a look at one of their promotional videos. It looks like a pretty standard toy-grade drone: it autolevels, it uses 6mm motors, and it's got a button you can press to make it do a flip.
The batteries look larger than the usual 150mAh, so it'll likely be a bit heavier and I'd guess it'd feel a little underpowered compared to lighter drones.
The transmitter looks to be a decent size, which is nice. Most toy-grade quads come with much smaller transmitters which are an absolute pain to use.
I'd be a little leery of the FPV claims, though. It uses a smartphone as a video receiver which is almost never ideal. I'd expect the range to be limited, and for there to be noticeable video lag. It might be a nice introduction to FPV, but would quickly prove to be a bit unpleasant to deal with.
Finally, this is toy-grade and all components are toy-grade. That's not a bad thing if it's what you're looking for, but it's not really the sort of thing you'll be able to upgrade in the future.
