Who ever is in charge of this drop would you kindly let us know what's going on with the RGB and if there will be anymore setups with Brown switches? I'd commit if I could get a RGB or MX brown.
Yes but they shouldn't have a bunch listed right off the bat saying Sold Out. Considering they said sold out before anyone purchased any. They shouldn't of been listed to begin with. Poor ethics.
TorlugicCan't disagree there. I was only mentioning that the RGB can't be had with brown Cherries anywhere unless you buy the kit off TaoBao and build one yourself. That being said, the brown Gats are quite tactile and smooth, at least on the Chroma I had for a minute.
This keyboard is really nice. I got mine on Amazon for about 64 bucks. I got the mx cherry blues with the white leds. I haven't had any issues with it. Has some cool light modes. It's a very basic led keyboard. I would recommend it.
I had this keyboard.
I wouldn't recommend it.
The stems of 3 keycaps broke within a year ( Making the caps unusable ) and the quality of the stabilizers is sub-par, when hitting spacebar, usually after 5-10 repetitions it would get loose on the opposite side and need to be pushed in. This would also happen instantly if i hit the spacebar harder.
Definitely has some quality issues, so would not recommend.
Quat_ErnyonI don't know why you had these issues but this has not been my experience at all. These are way better than other keyboards in this price range.
Ive owned one of these with MX Red switches/ white led. St the time of purchase, RGB was not available with Cherry switches, only Gateron of which I have little experience with. The KB has been wonderful. It's a solid build, clean looks. removable cable (USB a-a) is a nice touch, but it would be likely difficult to replace if necessary. I'd love an RGB version with mX Brown or Red switches and will likely hit Amazon again. I fully recommend this Kbfor quality and price And performance. I replaced a K70 rapid fire for this model.
If you can Amazon, the Chromas are available with Prime for $80 in the US right now. The Anne Pro is a popular choice if you can go down to the 60% form factor. Function mapping through the app helps a lot for the keys you lose. Between the two, the Chroma feels better out of the box aside from the caps. The PBT caps on the Anne Pro are OK if not a little thin. The clack on the Chroma with stock caps is higher pitched but more solid sounding. I think there's less empty space inside the case, but I couldn't get mine apart to take a look. The Anne Pro has a slightly lower, more hollow sound probably due to the space inside the plastic case as well as the plastic plate construction. It's probably a better starting point for tinkering if you're into that sort of thing.
SoRecklessYea the keyboard is actually really good quality for this price. Gateron switches are really great too, much better than other cheaper alternatives
