There are more than a few good reasons why RPMWEST’s Quarter Century Jacket met its Kickstarter goal of $20,000 in just 24 hours. For one, as its name suggests, this chore coat is guaranteed to last no fewer than 25 years. That’s because it’s made in the United States of 12-ounce duck canvas, a tightly woven cotton commonly used in shoes, painting canvases, and tents. Double-reinforced elbows, double-tacked stress points, and a quilted lining only add to its toughness.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of jacket color: black, navy, olive, slate, or stone. Each color comes in your choice of size: S, M, L, XL, XXL.
For another, it’s versatile. Adorned with little more than copper buttons and a military-grade zipper, this earth-tone jacket works as well on the job site as it does at the wine bar. Worth equal mention is its utilitarian design: It features an integrated headphone jack, a security pocket, and an interior hook for keys. Durable, versatile, and useful? It’s as classic now as it will be in 25 years.
Born of a 2013 Kickstarter, RPMWEST set out with one goal in mind: to produce the perfect pair of jeans. The recipe? Premium materials and American craftsmanship. It was nothing short of a success. Three years later, this Los Angeles–based company has garnered a following for its simple yet sophisticated approach to everyday clothing. And the line has expanded beyond jeans and chinos to include jackets, hoodies, henleys, T-shirts, and more.
Our model is 170lbs, 5'10" and is wearing a size Medium in the Slate colorway.
The following measurements are for the outside of the jacket, not the inside. The jacket may appear larger as the measurements include the inner lining and duck canvas. This jacket generally runs true-to-size.
