Developed in collaboration with the tire experts at Michelin, the Salewa Lite Train K trail shoes offer excellent traction and stability for every adventure—from rapid hiking and long-distance technical trail running to uphill interval training and more. Each pair is built around the Michelin Lite Train outsole, which features a sculpted and grooved Outdoor Compound that functions like a mountain bike tire. Finally, Salewa’s proprietary 3F system provides firm ankle and heel support for long days on the trail.

Born in the Italian Dolomites, Salewa is a family owned company that's committed to designing socially and environmentally responsible outdoor gear. Founded in 1935 as Saddler Leather Wears, it initially produced leather goods such as saddlebags and soccer balls. After moving into mountaineering gear, footwear, apparel, and equipment, Salewa went on to develop the backpack that supported Herman Huber's Andes expedition. In 2007, the company established a branch in Boulder, Colorado, where it continues to design quality outdoor gear that's built with a spirit of adventure.
