These Schott Zwiesel glasses will complement any kind of wine in your cellar. The transparent body allows you to see the characteristics of your wine, while the crystal's thickness prevents breaking—in fact, thanks to the Tritan crystal construction, each glass is chip, scratch, break, and thermal-shock resistant Read More
If the images are accurate, looks like the 'Fine' series glasses from Zwiesel: https://marken.zwiesel-kristallglas.com/shop/en/productline/productline.action?category=000015&productline=000054&brand=schott
Restaurants buy cases of 24 of these at ~$200 (so, ~$8.33/glass). At $30 for a set of 6, this is a pretty sweet deal for some sturdy, dishwasher-safe universal glasses.
As for style appropriateness, SZ and others recommend them for 'full-bodied whites/young reds,' which is about as close to a one-size-fits-all universal glass as you'll find. In shape, they're similar to other, much higher-end 'universal' tasting glasses (think Zalto Universals), but slightly thicker & sturdier for everyday use, not to mention wildly cheaper.
Certainly doesn’t look like the SZ Beaujolais listed on Amazon.. Can someone from Massdrop pls verify?

So for somebody who enjoys wine, but doesn't really know much about it, how do these compare to the SZ Audience glasses also on Massdrop? Is one preferable for certain types of wine than the other? I've ordered both sets, but I'll admit to not knowing which ones I should use with which wines or which occasions.
