With so many devices running on finite lithium-ion power, most everyone has a portable battery bank of some sort. With excellent features and compatibility, the Shargeek Storm 2 Power Bank is looking to take this industry, well, by storm Read More
My experience with the SHARGEEK STORM 2 Power Bank has been nothing short of disappointing, and sadly, it seems to be a systemic issue across all their processes.
After just a few months of use, the power bank completely died, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied. Upon reaching out to customer support for assistance, I was met with slow responses and unhelpful solutions that seemed more like stall tactics than genuine attempts to resolve the issue.
What's more concerning is that this experience appears to be consistent across their entire process, from the product's functionality to the support provided. It feels like they're intentionally delaying resolutions, perhaps waiting for warranties to expire.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend the SHARGEEK STORM 2 Power Bank or any other product from this company until these fundamental issues are addressed. Customers deserve better quality products and timely support, neither of which I experienced in this instance.
pwnermanDon't get me wrong, I agree, it doesn't make sense. Especially as I paid almost half for my Anker 737 140w bank which would only be missing the barrel jack this has, and being 24,000mAh instead of 25.6k. If memory serves I got it for $120 during their big sale somewhere around a month ago maybe.
Does anyone know why this will stop charging at 90% on a 45W USB-C charger (20V⎓2.25A), but when hooked up to a 65W charger (20V⎓3.25A) it will top off at 100%? (It's not just "charging, but slowly," I left it on an Anker 45W charger for several days and it never went above 90%, but twenty minutes on a 65W Anker charger and it was at 100%.) I'm very happy with it, I'm just curious about the "why."
I have one. It was a kickstarter reward, and I got it with a solar panel to charge it. Unfortunately, I left it about a month or so connected to the solar panel, in a window, but it wasn't enough (winter) to keep it charged, and it ended up falling too low to charge. I contacted the company, and they said they'd send a new one, which didn't arrive. I took the side panels off, and found a reset button. After a few tries, it reset, and it's healthy again. Works beautifully, and while it's a bit heavy/large, it carries a LOT of charge
So I actually ordered one of these several months ago and until yesterday or today the expected ship date was January 31, which has now been changed to April 28. I am going on a trip soon to somewhere the power goes out on a pretty regular basis and I need a charger there that I can take on a plane. Will my order, the one I placed long ago, be shipping at the end of this month or sometime in late April?
I do NOT recommend it, I was one of the early backer on Kickstarter, as per the rewards instructed I paid 120 USD for one around February 2021 with a discount. I never received it, everytime I email them is either no response or "we need time" until recently, they told me that my money is only for two wall charger and a wireless charger as rewards for backing a battery bank project. To people already paid for this, I hope you good luck on getting what you have paid for , to people thinking about getting it, I recommend against doing so.
VinnKiaWe are the vendor of this product. We have so far delivered 2 batches, around 300 PCS to drop and they are about to arrive at the warehouse of Drop. Both Drop.com and us can ensure that you get what you have paid for.
KeebmonkeyLol.
They said they will ship me two wall chargers for my Kickstarter pledge, and that was two months ago. I'm yet to receive my over priced chargers.
