I purchased the Transit here and it is an AMAZEBALLS bag for the price. You won't regret getting it. Incredibly well built and it's huge inside. I've owned dozens of backpacks (wife accuses me of a bag fetish) from Arc'Teryx to Osprey to Maxpedition, and this one is a keeper: Highlights:
  • Spacious, well-designed access
  • Can carry 2x 32oz Hydroflask in Gonovate sleeves in each side-strap (I clip a carabiner onto sleeve and strap for additional attachment protection)
  • Great wide shoulder straps
  • Classy enough looking I can carry w/dress clothes
  • flat bottom - sits square & upright on the floor when you sit it down
  • excellent waterproofing
Lowlights:
  • sternum strap poorly designed. no buckle to detach making it unfriendly to use with many types of clothing/situation types. I removed it, and I normally get rid of bags with poor sternum straps. The shoulder straps are wide enough I can use them alone to distribute load without back pain.
  • lacks and internal structure or form. I with it had a small internal frame and compression straps for days I want to load it lightly. It does not hold form or load lightly well....everything falls to the bottom in a lump so I've had to add structural organizers which add to the weight.
  • May try out the smaller pack eventually to see if helps solve this problem.
10/10 would buy again despite these design flaws. Note I don't use this cycling: I use this for work, hiking, and motorcycle commuting/road trips. YMMV.

Really great backpack.
Build quality, construction, features are all excellent. And it's waterproof. I love this backpack. I just wish it was offered in a smaller size. (I ordered the Transit, prolly should have ordered the Utility.) There's lots of room in this bag for things like 2x gallons of milk. The interior has pockets for a laptop and tablet that are velcro'd down while the rest of the space is open. The lights are a really nice feature.

Having biked through a downpour or two with this thing, It's pretty darned waterproof. The fabric lining inside the small pocket with a vertical zipper got soaked once, though I might not have shoved the zipper pull up into its little pocket thing. That lining can pull all the way inside out, beyond the zipper, to ease drying, which is smart design. There is no zipper underneath that flap on the bottom pocket, so I don't feel comfortable putting anything small in there, lest it be jostled out. I found myself using the arrangement of loops to hold pens, which it does well.
My only real complaint is that the buckled strap that crosses the abdomen seems to loosen itself, for me.

This bag is huge! Finally a bag that can hold everything I want to haul for my daily work commute. We haven’t had any pouring rains yet, so I can’t comment on how water-proof it is. My only complaint is that it sits up a bit high on me so makes it harder to look over my shoulder to merge into traffic. Maybe someone taller wouldn’t have this same issue. I’m still really glad I bought this!

Fantastic quality
Worth the price. Seems very well built and completely functional. The lights were the perfect addition and exactly what i found lacking in other bags. Would also love a smaller version but that's my only complaint, it's a bigger bag than what I specifically wanted.

Good product- the only thing that "feels" iffy is the zipper- it always feels like I'm going to break it, but I haven't yet. (It's big thick plastic and is probably tougher than I think it is)
