To say that Shwood comes from humble beginnings would be an understatement. The company’s first pair of sunglasses was whittled by hand from the limb of a madrone tree Read More
I got these, they look cool when they're not on my face but they don't suit me. If anyone want's them, they're the walnut/gold ones. I don't have the outer box but i have the case, cleaning cloth still in packaging, and glasses have only been tried on a couple times. If anyone wants them let me know and lets work something out.
I hate to rag on these more than I did in my review, but unless you're a tiny person, do not order these. They are too small and sit funny. I gave mine to my 5'2 sister and she likes them just fine.
Got sent the wrong ones. Ordered gold and received gunmetal. Paid duty to get it over the border to receive the wrong ones. Shouldn't be that difficult to send the right one. Very unimpressed with massdrop
Would anyone suggest these to someone who usually never wears glasses or sunglasses? I want a pair for when I am driving and also that look stylish (the gold one oooooo) but I don't know if its a good investment for this gear.
Buying my second pair, loved my first pair but left them in the center console of a rental car I returned, and of course they weren't turned in, as they're very nice shades. Loved the black with brown wood accent, although the wood on the black was a little dark for my complexion. Going for the matte gold this time. Lense quality was excellent, shades were very unique and got a lot of compliments on them! They initially sat high on my nose/face, but made a quick adjustment to the nose pads and they fit perfectly.
The question is where to have them inexpensively RX'd.
35dollarglasses.com can be a hulking hassle and CostCo's eyeglass service is now a vast carcass decomposed of lenses. I sometimes spy it floating on the Hudson.
Is the alignment of anyone else's temple pieces a bit off, as in they are not parallel when the glasses are open?
Just wondering if this if normal/common or if it a defect. (I'll try and add an image later, I don't have the glasses on me ATM)
Not really sure what to do.
Other than that the frames seem very nice, I would also second other reviews, on other sites, that say that these are on the small side.
