Got the shipment today and have listened for a few hours.
The good news —
*good price
*elegantly small and unobtrusive
*enhanses sound quality greatly to even these aging, no longer golden ears
Not good news —
*must listen through the only app available
*the app does not "see" my mixes
*the app has no instructions (perhaps mixes can be dragged and dropped like HR tunes can be as in a responses below?)
It'll have to fill in until I find the DAP I want.

listening directly connected to the app does not allow or show my mixes/playlists, but listening through the regular IOS "music" app incorporates the SMSL apps dac functions and plays my playlists too.
if I needed more amplification, I would be disappointed as well, but what I get for my Audio-Technical M-50x's is adequate for me.
