Well, there’s definitely an issue in communication between massdrop and spyderco. I was on the native 5 drop when the steel changed and now my purchase here has been refunded with a credit due to the item being on backorder...
I‘m not gonna roast massdrop on this but the breakdown is kinda worrisome. I really hope some learning is being done here... on both ends.

LORD_ZARYOXive not bought from massdrop since that fiasco. I was dealt an upgrade in that one but the result of the drop in its entirety worries me. I’ll probably keep away for a while.

Got the hawkbill myself. I live the blade, not big on the yellow though. All in all a great little knife. Will be RIT dying the handle black though.

Got the Dragonfly 2 Black Plainedge FRN. Not thrilling, but nice! At least it wasn't a hawkbill. Here it is, with my trusty Paramilitary 2 for (perhaps unfair) comparison.

So I got the message that my package came on Saturday but I was away until TUESDAY!! Just got home and went grab my box. Just by weight alone, I knew I got something else. Opened it up to find the VG-10 dragonfly (which I’m happy with. It’s my first!) aaaand THE SHARPMAKER!!! Can’t wait to dig into this thing. Best. Blue Box. EVER.
