G-10 Meets Carbon Fiber
New in 2015, this collaboration between Spyderco and custom knifemaker Peter Carey offers a pocket-friendly stature and a dash of blaze-orange flair—hence its name, the Firefly. In contrast to the orange G-10 scales, the upper third of the handle consists of contoured and polished carbon fiber bolsters. A unique pocket clip is positioned for right-handed, tip-down carry, though it can be configured for tip-up carry. Rounding out the handle is a high-strength LinerLock, plus stainless steel liners. An open-back design allows for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Robust Drop-Point Blade
Open the knife using the oversize Spyderco hole, which is designed to sit above the spine of the blade for easier deployment, and you’ll discover a drop-point saber-ground blade. Made of VG-10 steel, a high-carbon-content steel manufactured in Japan, it excels at slicing tasks.
