All I see are complaints one after the other. For me personally massdrop has never failed to deliver. I just went through my first soldering project on a $200+ keyboard, that coincidentally is the first mech I've own. Sure, I don't know what a Gateron feels like, but I do know that the product I am using is levels above whatever cookie cutter plastic Razer want's to wrap next. I spend my days typing code and no gaming keyboard would ever suffice.
For those to come I say to you, be prepared to invest some, not much, time to get to know what you're getting. It'll be that much more satisfying to understand that the quality of this product comes not only because of the hardware, but the community that pushed for it.
Yes, for the layman's out there flashing firmware might be a bit over their heads, but come on, it is solvable with a few google searches and good intuition. Although I am biased, I'm a computer science engineer. Even my mom was excited for me to see how it ended up, I wasn't expecting that, her only concern are the white caps which I plan to replace. The do feel much better than ABS, has some porousness feel to them which I enjoy in contrast to the mac's default shinny slippery ones.
Some of the guys who joined this drop seem to have not noticed that this was very heavily influenced by the hardcore community, the ones that didn't know the nature of this are now at a loss as they expected it to be a plug and play situation. Well tough luck, the price is low enough as it is. The hours of work and research to actually push out the hardware is bad enough.
The hardest thing for me to get used to now is the sound of my clacking and springs on the switches.

kiddI dont think people are complaining about the quality of the board, your review is incredibly biased. You received a flawless kit that you had no trouble building or programming and that's all fine and dandy but a good kit should have a nice configurator and few flaws. If you would even just read the review above yours you'd see people had some very legitimate problems that you seem to have just brushed over because you had a nice kit.
